Help Kassandra Hear

We all want to help children, especially children with special needs. Kassandra is a deaf toddler who was born with congenital deafness. Her mom is asking for donations (one penny) to help pay for two hearing aides to help Kassandra. Here’s what she says:

“Kassandra Ghiege Arreza Ocanada is 1 year and 2 months old. She is diagnosed to have a congenital deafness. She is a happy child and really wants to laugh even though she doesn’t hear anything.

I am her mother, every time I see her smile and the will to learn new things, it is hurting me so much that I can do nothing to make her hear. If only I have a healing power… but no, I am just a human.

Her hearing aid costs 53,000 pesos only for one piece hearing aid with a lifespan of 3-5 years only. She needs two pieces to make her hear clearly but I can’t afford such price. We can barely afford our needs everyday, how much more for the hearing aid that costs thousand times our earnings every month.
